Davis Babies
Amy Louise says Aaaah!
Henry’s first day of first grade!
Babies are four weeks old tomorrow and they get to meet both Uncle Jud and Uncle Nat this weekend.
The girls are starting to look a tiny bit more distinct each day (though don’t ask me to tell you who is who during a 3am feeding). They still sleep for the majority of the day with some wakeful time in the late morning and mid-afternoon, getting a bit longer each day. This is great for allowing me some time to rest myself. Henry is off to DisneyWorld with Grandma and Granddad this weekend which means it will be our first weekend with Jeff and I and the babies to see how we do on our own!
We came home last night and everyone is doing well! They are tiny, but healthy and we are all completely smitten!
I don’t have as many solo shots of Adeline (she spent the first day in the NICU), but since we’re pretty sure they are identical (right down to the single little curls in the middle of their foreheads), the shot of Amy Louise will give you an idea of what they both look like at the moment.
Amy Louise and Adeline Clare Davis arrived on Saturday evening, August 9th at 9:58 and 9:59 respectively. They were 4lbs14oz and 4lbs15oz with masses of black hair.
Needless to say this was a few weeks earlier than we were anticipating but we’re all doing fine and prognosis is good.
Henry had a GREAT time at “Granna camp” in Tennessee, but now he’s HOME and I’m so glad. Here he is with his cousins Davis and Sam.
